INITIAL CONSULTATION & TREATMENT
Service Description
The Initial Consultation is a 60-minute assessment and treatment, where our dedicated team will assist you in identifying the underlying causes of your health concerns. Our goal is to provide you with a clear understanding of your condition and offer a detailed treatment plan specific to your injury and guidance on how to manage it effectively while preventing future recurrences. During this assessment, our team will employ subjective questioning to gather information about your health history and injury. We will also conduct a thorough objective assessment, which includes evaluating your injury through active and passive movements, special tests for the nervous system and ligaments, and muscle testing. In addition to the assessment, our team will provide hands-on techniques, pain management, soft tissue treatment, frictions, peripheral and spinal joint mobilisations, manual therapy, application of electrotherapy, shockwave therapy, ultrasound therapy, thermotherapy, cryotherapy, exercise therapy, injury management, and facilitation of the healing process. We will also offer home advice tailored to your specific needs. This advice may include lifestyle modifications, ergonomic adjustments, and self-care practices to help you manage your condition. We will also prescribe home exercises that are designed to aid in your recovery and promote long-term improvement. The Initial Consultation aims to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of your condition, a customised treatment plan, and guidance on how to prevent similar issues in the future. Our team is committed to working closely with you, ensuring your active participation and empowering you to take control of your health and well-being.
